Action & gestural painting workshops - release, express, create!
Splatter painting, drip painting, flicking paint and such painting techniques, come from the gestural and action painting of the great Abstract Expressionist artist Jackson Pollock, aka Jack The Dripper.
Action painting captures the 'splatter' painting process best, as it's really an embodied and gestural movement with a paint brush in your hand, the marks that land on the canvas becoming a recording of your energy and movement.
Paint Jam events are social painting workshops-come-parties - for everyone. Hosted by our top London artists, we go on dynamic painting journey to a Modern art theme - eg Splatter painting! with a DJ playing tunes, visual projections, a pop up bar and lots of lovely people. Paint Jam is a fully immersive painting experience in our pop up art studio. ART FOR EVERYONE - total beginners welcome in our inclusive art studio; we break every painting theme down to the basic techniques, with demonstrations and guidence from our experienced artists, so that everyone can engage in art-making. Create your own unique artworks - to keep. Come to our West London studio in Brentford, or have us come to your space or office. We also have partner venues in Soho, Covent Garden, King's Cross, Farringdon, Holborn, Shoreditch and Bermondsey. 
Paint Jam splatter painting events can be a simple Splatter Painting Workshop or the full immersive Paint Jam event - SPLATTER ROOM, with DJ sets, artist-lead workshop, visual projections and a pop up bar. 
The Splatter painting theme, inspired by the abstract expressionist school, is a cathartic and expressive painting experience where you get to let it out and have fun. Whether you want rage release and see the Splatter room as a rage room, or whether you just find it fun to splatter colour and get abstract, this theme is brilliant. We run Splatter Rooms and Splatter painting workshops as Paint Jam Corporate and team- building workshops, Paint Jam hen parties and Paint Jam public events. You have the choice of painting individual canvases, painting large collaborative canvases, or both. 
The photos in these Splatter painting Paint Jam events were from two recent groups - Anique's Paint Jam stag party with a full immersive Splatter Room Paint Jam event - which also included a Pop Art collaborative canvas! And a team-building Splatter Painting Workshop with London Media agency Addesu as part of their team day - Splatter Paint Jam was the social bit! individual canvas paintings as well as large collaborative canvas paintings were created. Both groups went for BYO drinks, a good way to save on budget, though you can also have us set up a pop up bar with drinks + catering. Both were held at our Bermondsey Pop Up space.
